The Democrats in Washington D.C. have gone far enough and need to stop fighting against President Trump and start doing their jobs. The American people are tired of hearing all of this bickering back and forth about how they feel President Trump is “racist” for speaking the truth and defending himself.
On Fox News Monday night a special guest ended his silence and spoke his mind, standing up for the president. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson told of how Baltimore is exactly what President Trump said it was, “a rodent-infested mess.”
Carson lived in Baltimore for over 30 years and showed pictures of the homes he had to send kids back home to after leaving the hospital. He worked as a pediatric neurosurgeon before joining the Trump administration, and he worked most of his medical field at the John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland.
So what makes Ben Carson such a special guest? He is a black man and tells of how President Trump is not racist and how they should all be on the same team working together to help make America great with no city left behind.
He told the host of the Fox show, Tucker Carlson, “As a pediatric neurosurgeon, I spent many hours, sometimes operating all night long, trying to give children of Baltimore and other places around the world a second chance at life. And usually, we were successful.
But a few days later, I was in a horrible dilemma, because some of those kids had to go back into homes in East Baltimore that were infested with rats and roaches and ticks and mold and lead and violence. And I didn’t want to send them back. Sometimes I would even consider, you know, extra tests so they could stay in the hospital an extra day or two.”
So now let the Democrats and Representative Cummings say Mr. Ben Carson is racist. We are hearing from someone who is not only black but a highly respected man who strongly supports our president and works very closely with him to make this great nation succeed in the housing industry. Carson told Tucker in the interview he is the only African American in the Trump administration, and he pushed back on all the critics who call President Donald Trump “racist.”
Yes, the President’s tweets can be harsh, but sometimes harsh is what some idiots in the Democratic party need to hear. They just cannot handle the truth, and then they cry “racism” to pull the spotlight off of themselves and point the finger at the president for calling them out.
Carson brought up the decline in the unemployment rate, rising wages, and the president’s push for prison reform, and the efforts put forth in the manufacturing sector. Carson stated, “All of these things are happening. These are not things that a person who is a racist would do. And we allow ourselves to be distracted by these things.”
When asked about President Trump’s tweets calling Cummings a “bully” and saying how “he has done a very poor job for his district and the City of Baltimore,” Carson replied, “I don’t think Cummings is a bad person.” Carson continued, “I think he actually is working hard to try to help people.
And I certainly don’t think President Trump is a bad person. He’s working very hard, in fact, I asked him today, would you be willing to work with Elijah Cummings to bring some relief to the people of Baltimore? He said he would be happy to.”
Among many critics, Carson was even criticized about not standing up for Baltimore since he lived there for so many years. Monday, the co-host of ABC’s “The View,” who is also a former resident of Baltimore, Sunny Hostin asked why Ben Carson had not said anything and why he did not condemn the tweets from the president.
“I’m calling out Ben Carson who spent the majority of his career in West Baltimore. As a member of [Trump’s] senior cabinet, where is Ben? Why is he not calling it? He’s in charge of housing for the Trump administration. Where are you? Why are you not defending Baltimore?”
Well, she got what she asked for. Carson spoke out and set the record straight. Now all the dumbass Democrats are going to shut up and move on to something else because the truth came out as requested. Ben Carson spoke up and defended the president.
