President Trump Takes a Stance on Venezuela

The crisis in Venezuela took on a new direction when the current leader started being opposed by a rival leader by the name of Juan Guaido.

He has been encouraging the army to help him overthrow the current President Nicolas Maduro. It appears that the military might be siding with Mr. Guaido.

Since that time there has been altercations between the two sides as the government looks for a way to settle.

Nicolas Maduro was sworn in as the country’s president at the start of this new year.

It did not take long for his leadership to be challenged by rivals.

There has been rallies around the world in support of the current President’s rival.

Nicolas Madura has taken steps to cut ties with many countries trying to help his people.

He has cut off all outside aid and has sealed the borders of the country.

The current President of the country has seen his economy fall into ruins.

Blame is being placed on the United States and other nations that have imposed sanctions on the country.

He has also moved to bring the power of the government under the executive branch and threatens opposition through intimidation.

Juan Guaido is a leader within the opposition parties.

He has stood against many of the reforms and changes in the government that have taken place.

The current President has taken it upon himself to suppress the freedom of the press to control the truth in the country.

He has been threatened to put into prison while he is being outspoken.

With all the turmoil prices have gone up dramatically on consumer goods.

Inflation has nearly reached the 10 million percent mark as of 2019.

There continues to be food shortages which in turn is causing the hospitals to have trouble treating the sick and starving.

Many people are trying to leave the country. So far 3 million people have left its borders and bordering countries are struggling to help.

The future is still unclear as events continue to escalate out of control.

There are two people trying to take leadership and neither of them is backing down.

President Trump did recognize Mr. Guaido as the rightful President.

He stated that the National Assembly the “only legitimate branch of government duly elected by the Venezuelan people.”

So far there have been 50 other nations around the world that have supported Mr. Guaido.

The White House has taken the Venezuelan crisis as proof that socialism does not work.

President Trump has tried to get Mr. Maduro to take steps to help the country but so far has not done so.

The United States has looked to other nations to help in the cause to save the country and its people.

President Trump has thought about using military force in the country to help stabilize things, but there is strong opposition to such approach from Russia and other nations that support Maduro.

Cuba is one of the other nations that supports Maduro.

President Trump has warned Cuba over its current support.

Some people are pointing out that President Trump wants Maduro to fall as leader, so he can claim a victory with the 2020 elections coming up.

With Maduro out-of-the-way President Trump can go on to prove that a socialist approach to government never works out in the end.

The President has stated, “I am monitoring the situation in Venezuela very closely. The United States stands with the People of Venezuela and their Freedom!”

He also has pointed out regarding Cuba that, “If Cuban Troops and Militia do not immediately CEASE military and other operations for the purpose of causing death and destruction to the Constitution of Venezuela, a full and complete embargo together with highest-level sanctions, will be placed on the island of Cuba. Hopefully all Cuban soldiers will promptly and peacefully return to their island!”

It is clear the President of the United States stands for freedom not just in America but for every country found throughout the world.

People have a fundamental right to be free.

  3. I’ve been surfing online more than three hours as of late, but I never discovered any attention-grabbing article like yours.
It is pretty value sufficient for me. In my opinion, if all webmasters and bloggers made just right content as you probably
did, the internet shall be much more useful
    than ever before.

  4. I’m with President Trump 100%. Freedom is only free if you are willing to fight/die for it. It’s time the Democrats Man/Woman-Up and start acting like grown-ups instead of Kindergartners and start working for the betterment of the USA instead of their on narcissistic agendas. What a group of Idiots.

  5. I pray to the citizens of venezuela you do get your country back fight for it. Take that dictator down anyway possible the men there need to take a stand and fight for that once beautiful country who had it rich. You can get it back make your country great again you can do it. The only reason this president is acting big cause of Russia and Iran helping him as well. Prayers to those people for a brighter future

  6. these things have already been done we know the answers what is the hold but to see people die–

  8. Picking food out of a garbage can is done here, in the USA.
People who need medical help but can not get it, is the USA.
College grads living at home because they have such high debt from loans that is the USA.
Sending our Army to foreign countries is the USA.
I am one of those combat Veteran’s (Vietnam) from the USA.
I was REFUSED medical care for 48 years at the VA that is the USA.
I am the only man left out of nine men I kept track of from Vietnam, that is the USA.
Now I watch the Afghanistan Veterans struggle to get care at the VA, that is the USA.

  9. While I support the President and his goal of seeing Madura being removed from office, I would be hesitant of sending American troops into the country to force him out. I don’t believe it would be popular with the American people. Of course, if another country came to the aid of Madura by putting putting in their own troops (such as Cuba), then that’s very different. Countries outside of the Western Hemisphere would have to deal with the pesky Monroe Doctrine.

It’s very obvious that Socialism does not work, especially when forced on a country. Someone should ask Bernie Sanders if he lives in the real world or if he should consider Alzheimer testing.

  10. Trump is wrong about Venezuela as he is on virtually every other question. We must not forget: Trump is a bigot, and we must rid our government of him as quickly as possible.

  11. Trump is Right as Usual.
